Casper Regeti… a loppy eared bunny who is house broken! Too funny, however very true although he is only allowed out when he is being watched and the kids are thoroughly enjoying this bunny! He is just as big as our 3 lb. two year old Pomeranian! Which of course we can’t leave him out of the post!
Every now and then I get emails asking how I get the colors in my images so perfect. While I am flattered to get emails like that its such an easy thing to get right colors in your images. I have been using ExpoDisc every now and then but now life has become easier with WhiBal reference card ! One thing to keep in mind is to get the exposure right in the camera itself. It doesnt help too much if the images are overly underexposed or overexposed.
So here is a sample of the image I shot this morning in front on my house. It was very foggy and even if you preset your camera whitebalance to overcast its hard for the camera to predict the right color temperature. While most think that the first one looks pretty good, the second one I think looks better where the white balance was corrected with the WhiBal reference card.
Yesterday, we received an email from one of our past clients who wanted to share what she did with her boudoir images. Well after they were married and moved into their new home the master bathroom was then born!
Just thought we would share, of course with permission from the bride, the images that she shot and sent to us of their master bathroom. Thanks for sharing as we like to show our girls some of the ideas others have about their images! I know a few of our other girls have framed and placed some over their beds as well, if any of our other girls would like to share please feel free to email us anytime as we would love to post your ideas!
Jill’s Back!
So for many of you who have been following our blog loyally for sometime, you will remember our previous clients Jill and Scott, well ladies and gentlemen they are finally married and had come to see us after the craziness of the wedding has hit a calm! So we went to breakfast and chit chatted for a while and thought we would bring out the cameras quickly for a quick shot of the Regeti and Jill/Scott Reunion! Well the married couple are as dashing as always and we are looking forward to getting Jill’s headshots taken within the next few weeks so she can get started in pursuing her acting career! We wish Jill and Scott nothing but pure love, peace, and happiness in the start of their lives as husband and wife! Congrats again guys!

What a beautiful day we had today! Our couple this evening, were married at The Ritz in Tyson’s Corner followed by a stunning reception Disc Jockeyed by one of the best in the area Mr. Percy Norman. All I can say is that whenever we attend a reception where Percy has control of the floor the crowd never wants to stop he is just that awesome. He is truly what we feel a disc jockey is meant to be!!!
As to our couple Tanya and Christopher they were a referral from our previous couple married in November, Charles and Vanessa and we thank them for supporting us and loving us enough to send Tanya and Christopher to us, we feel that we were blessed to be part of both of their wedding days! Nothing says the way our clients love us more then their referrals, we love to see our past clients as well as be part of their family traditions!
I think till now Tanya’s dress is my most all time favorite, the bows added just the tweak the dress needed to make it just perfect! Tanya’s bouquet was very inspirational as we love it when our girls think out of the box and are original it always adds for a nice touch in the photos, it’s always the smaller details of the event that make it what it is. Later in the evening Tanya and Christopher switched out to more casuals Christopher in a mocha suit followed by Tanya in a mocha evening gown… both were absolutely stunning! There was no telling Christopher could not dance! (Or so that is what Tanya’s lips were saying when they entered the dance floor ;-P )
Vanessa and Charles, Newlyweds !
This morning we met up with Amber and Hunter our Bride and Groom who will be getting married in Hawaii in May! And we are so excited to be going out there with them and being part of such an important part of their lives, we are truly going have a blast with them as we are all hoping to go swimming with the sea turtles which Amber loves!
We were totally blown away when Hunter revealed his tattoos to us as we would have never pinned him for the type! He was very happy to have his tattoos taken as there are some deep stories behind each one and why he has them. We were certainly moved! Today’s e-session was nothing short of awesome as Hunter and Amber did just about anything we wanted them too and then some, you just got to love it when you get those kinds of couples! We are so psyched about having the honor of being their photographers of choice to head out to Hawaii with them next year!
As for our afternoon couple we met up with Radhika and Ringo one of the most awesome Indian couples that I have met till now! We talked all the way into the night, could have even chit chatted longer if it was not getting to late and Ringo had to head out to Fredrick, Maryland and Radhika out to Alexandria. I am so glad that they decided to come to our little town of happiness here in Warrenton for their e-session! They will be having their wedding in India in February and we have been invited although we don’t know that we will be able to make it our hearts will be with them!
We ended the night meeting with two other clients David and Nicole with whom we did not photograph their wedding but have been hired to process their images and build their album, we are also excited to be working with the two of them as Nicole is so excited about her soon to be finished product! Congratulations Nicole and David on your September wedding! Â
This afternoon the RP couple were Heather and Geoffrey (Geoff) who were married at “Our Lady of Peace†in Arlington followed by a 2 hour of Cocktails and a Reception at the Fort Myers Officers Club. We were really concerned about not being able to do any fun group shots afterwards due to the loss of daylight, however this is now on the records as our fastest Catholic Full Mass ceremony! Wrapping up within 45 minutes! The priest was also very laid back with no restrictions which is always a help when trying to get great shots as many Catholic churches are very harsh on the wedding photographers in general as from some of the stories we have heard we can understand to some extend why they can be so harsh, we have even had one restrict all photography except for formals afterwards, now that was a little harsh!
Back to our couple Heather and Geoff! We had the pleasure of photographing and taking a part in their lives as they had originally retained another photographers services from “Craig’s List†only to realize after their e-session that they did not feel that they were satisfied with the results, shortly after meeting with us they called to retain our services and came out to Warrenton for another e-session with us revealing the playful side that we saw so much of today! They are truly the all American couple bringing their reception right on through with a win from Virginia Tech!!!
