So when we first met with Shipra she was not sure that their schedules would cooperate enough to follow through with an e-session however time quickly permitted us to in which we were able to not only get a few shots of her in her traditional Indian attire but work a little of the Western style in too!
Shipra is a professional dancer who found us through a wedding that we photographed that she danced for! It was almost immediately that her and her parents knew that they wanted to retain our services and we are happy that they did! It was a blast working with the two of them this past weekend as the camera absolutely adores them both. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us on their wedding day as she is so very talented!
Angeline and Bob joined us in downtown Warrenton for their e-session this afternoon. We kept telling them both that we should have headed out with them to DC as the BBQ cook off was happening out there! Unfortunately they weren’t having it so we headed onto the streets! Congratulations to you both as your wedding is right around the corner!
Almost feel like I want to write a book about these two love birds! Well Jason is an English teacher and this upcoming school year they have decided to head over seas to Japan to pursue his career in teaching. And Shannon has already decided that she wants to have their first child there! Talk about a trip, we would just love to document her 40 weeks! On that note our May 12th Bride who is one of Shannon’s good friends is now expecting her first, let’s just say Jeff wastes no time! Congrats again to the two of them as they add to their family!
So Jason and Shannon were married in a beautiful ceremony outside Hollow Creek GC with the weather fully cooperating. She mentioned that she liked some of the recent infarred shots posted to the blog so we pulled out the IR camera for a few quick shots during the ceremony and we love the shots! It reminds me a little of Beetlejuice! But either way just loved the shots!
Shannon just sent us an email as we have been sort of delayed in posting due to some minor difficulties last night to be posted shortly. So we thought we better get them up ASAP before she ends the honeymoon to track us down!

As you will notice in some of the photos Shannon’s Mom was very emotional and this she has indeed passed onto her children. This is one lady that you have to love as you have no choice since her personality is just too ding dang lovable! Which brings us to Gretchen’s parents which we absolutely adore, just seeing them on the dance floor tells us all that love is certainly worth fighting for!
So we don’t go on and on… real quick I wanted to extend our heartfelt wishes to our last October couple Nalani and Sean which were also referred from Shannon who was referred from Gretchen (have I confused you enough!) who have welcomed a new bundle of joy to the family since their wedding as we wish them both alot of love and happiness, makes you want to bust out some Al Greene! Okay onto the photos….
Okay so it seems like the thing to do now, so why not. For those of you not familiar with it yet check out “Trash the Dress” seems to be getting alot of press lately as well. If there is anyone willing to get down and dirty with their wedding dress the Regeti’s are willing and able to help you out so long as you are open to our creativity along with a little bit of dirt and water!
We have a few already booked and upcoming, however here is one that we did yesterday with a couple who flew up from Florida and made a pitstop before heading onto their honeymoon! Kerry another local photographer joined us as well. After a slight delay and shortage of gas we made it to the pump after having to seek assistance from a nearby dealership, okay well let’s just say that we broke down right in front of it! A gentleman by the name of Russ at Dealers Outlet saved the day. You would think being a mother of four that I would always keep it topped off, although today I thought I would just push it a little further! So I am the official 1st for Kerry in all her years driving to run out of gas! Thanks Kerry for sticking by me through it all!
Ashley and Lukasz were a blast and we had alot of fun with them. Best wishes to you both!
One quick last note and credit is to Mrs. Linda Merritt with Heaven On Earth Wedding Flowers one of our favorite florist as we cannot rave enough about this talented lady, we just love, love, love her work! She was given total creative freedom to make a funky bouquet and boutonnière for this session and she went over the top with it. Ashley could not have loved it any more than she did and I don’t think that we could have found anything as unique any where else! Thanks Linda you are the coolest!
Vickie and Jason are to be married in just a little over 2 months from now! Time sure does fly… The beautiful Black Horse in is where the ceremony and reception will be held. These two really know how to live life to the fullest even with their busy schedules. We enjoyed hanging our yesterday evening with the both of them learning about their family and wedding plans. Your wedding day will be here before you know it!
Most of those following the blog know that our youngest son, Brijesh (4) broke his left lower leg. Well on Tuesday we took him in for his check up! They removed his cast and gave him his walking papers, however they have decided to place him into this new neon green half cast for an additional 2 weeks to be sure that he is ready to go!
He has certainly been a trooper throughout it all and once he is cast free we will be treating him to a nice Coldstone Creamery treat, but for now he will have to settle for cookies from the double arches!
We would like to thank all the locals who joined us for our Monday night get together! Sorry to blog it so late however we really appreciate everyone hanging out with us. Everyone seemed right at home with one another and we certainly need to do it more often. For those of you who did not get the chance to join us this time we are going to plan to do the next one at an amusement park! We did not get in until 2 am as a few of us later hungout in the parking lot, however we have since been playing catch up!
For those of you interested we are considering a seminar for “Boudoir” so be sure to stay tuned as we will post it to the blog and only be taking between 10-12 participants. Thanks again everyone as we can’t wait for the next one!
