Don’t you wish your boyfriend was hot like Dan! Happy 16th to Daniel as he celebrates his February birthday! Thanks to Mom he made it in for some great shots that not only reflect his super cool personality but how awesome it is to be 16! We had a great time this morning with him and his Mom while capturing so many awesome photos!
Many of you may not realize that … Newton White Mansion is a Neo-Georgian-style home and that the 586 acre tract became known as Enterprise Estate. Today the mansion is surrounded by Enterprise Golf Course and consists of six large rooms, a contemporary glass-enclosed atrium (that is simply stunning!), two upstairs dressing rooms, and an outdoor brick patio with a central waterfall fountain.
Martha’s Dad as we quickly became aware is not only a Trekie but also quite intriqued by the military so he shared a little of the history that he found to be interesting with us.
Jim and Martha are one of the most out going couples that we have had the joy to photograph and when you add their totally awesome wedding party to that you are bound to have the funnest night of your life! Which needless to say we did! Thanks for bringing us in to be a part of your beautiful and wonderful wedding day! Here are only a very few of the great shots that happened during our time with the Ottenberg’s and Wang’s!

Valentines’ Day is more so for our children now as Srinu and I totally have lost touch with what to buy for one another…LOL! It always becomes difficult to know what we should present to each other on Valentines’ Day knowing that we have everything that we could have ever dreamed of having as a couple. So for the Regeti’s we played a game of tag team with our children. While Srinu headed out with the oldest two for a nice dinner and a movie… I and the younger two headed out for dinner and a shopping spree! This makes it possible for everyone to enjoy their Valentines’ Day doing something that they love and enjoy!
Oh and none-the-less not to forget to give a special shout to Laura Auer and The Soiree Special Events team for their wonderful card! You guys are great!
Congratulations to Gretchen and Jeff parents of baby Aubrey born Super Bowl weekend! We now are offering the RP 36 which will entail us coming to the hospital within the first 36 hours of your baby’s birth and documenting your stay with family, friends, and your little bundle of joy! Within 24 hours of our visit you will then receive a DVD slideshow of our favorite pics and online viewing and ordering for family and friends near and a far! Call now to give us your due date as there are limited sessions allotted per week. We look forward to hearing from you!
Never have we been to an R&R tasting until last evening. Typically we always have their food at events no need for a tasting, right? Well we were invited to be their photographer for the evening at Foxchase in order to do some detail shots of the food and scenery. I don’t know about you, but I am starving now!
Why do vendors do these shows we ask? Well we certainly learned alot from our first one in many ways. There are vendors who go into bridal shows assuming that they will gain a few bookings from it and then there are vendors who go in thinking that they have nothing to lose but everything to gain. Well we will be the first to admit that we gained a whole lot. We met vendors that work in the area that otherwise we would not have had the opportunity to meet because busy schedules, conflicting dates and events. We even were able to meet with a few of our past clients as well and coordinators that we have worked with on several occasions making it a quite beneficial networking experience in all. Thanks Doreen for making it all happen and bringing it all together! Cheers!
Just wanted to give a few shout outs to a couple of wonderful vendors that we met for the first time out at the show that we feel are unique assets to the wedding community in the DC Metro area:
Amaryllis – First off this company has some amazing work that comes out of there that was displayed at the show. Their bouquets are distinctly their own designs and boy are they simply gorgeous!
Janet Flowers – Love, love, love their table set ups! Talk about classy and unique, they have some of the most beautiful table set-ups from linens, to center peices, she truly knows what she is doing in bringing it all together!
Robert Isaccson – Is a photographer who is quite down to earth and does some really nice commercial work as well as weddings. He is also a huge contributor to the Engaged! Magazine as he compliments the book well. He seems like your meeting an old friend after a long time. Srinu and I just love when people are approachable and Issacson is just that.
Suburban Online Video – Bob Bowen the owner is just the friendliest man you will ever meet, another personable and approachable fellow!
Engaging Affairs – Laura Weatherly who is one of DC’s premier wedding coordinators was also at the show as well, we are hoping to work with her this year as we hear her events tend to raise the bar!
Bella Amore Events – Karie Lewicki – She must have the coolest website of any coordinator that we have ever met, now if that alone doesn’t say enough about her attention to detail I don’t know what does!
There were so many great people we met and unfortunately we don’t have time to name them all however we enjoyed being a part of the day!
