Better shape up, cause I need a man… and my heart is set on you!

What an awesome time we had today with Lane and Andrew (Good friends of Adriana and Ryan.) as they drove down from NY/NJ to have us do their engagement photos. They will be getting married this fall in Georgia and we could not be happier for the the two of them! We had such a blast with the two of them pulling out their own stunts for their photos and also playing along with a few of ours as well.

Soon after we began their session it hit me that Lane and Andrew were strangely similar to that of John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John in Grease! Now who doesn’t love that movie, even with it’s debut in 1978 (A year before I was even born!) it is still my all time favorite movie! Our historic little town here was coincidentally the perfect scene for the two of them to strut some moves.

John and Sara are going to the Chapel!

Finally we were able to get together with John and Sara in order to shoot their engagement photos. It seemed like no matter how bad all of us wanted to do their session the weather, school, or scheduling would not cooperate. And even Tuesday was a close call on the weather as we began their session our blue skies were looking kind of gray!

Many of you may recognize Sara as one of the Finalists on America’s Next Top Model, Cycle 6. I don’t know who is sexier John (such the Southern gentleman he is!) or Sara… ladies unfortunately he won’t be a free man after the fall!

Many are wondering what’s come of her now? Well she has been hit by the love bug and will be married this fall! In the mean time they are both law students and are currently heavy in the books!

Shazia + Zia = Shazia and Zia!

We found it quite cute that Zia (the Groom) and Shazia’s names were that of one another, more perfectly said when Shazia’s best friend gave her speech and said that “It was a name within a name and that all along Zia has always been in her name.”

The two of them were married during a private ceremony on Saturday evening, followed by an evening reception on Sunday at the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner. I must say that they certainly do have one of the prettiest ballrooms that we have seen in the area. It is a splash of contemporary within the traditional ballroom setting with a Mezzanine above.

They ended the night with a table full of sweet treats for their guests to package their own tiny favor from the evening. The funniest part about that is that Shazia is a dentist, it would have been too cute to have placed a travel size tooth brush and dental floss to go along with it

Quick shout out that is not to be missed is the decor by Mrs. Priti Verma with L’Ambiance. And to Elegance and Simplicity for the florals.

Now onto our own sweet treats for our blog watchers out there…
