Angie and Rich were sent to us from the awesome Soiree Special Events Team as Ryan will be coordinating their upcoming wedding this weekend! Yes, that is right around the corner! We just happened to be able to meet up with them in just the nick of time as they go from being engaged to newlyweds! Not having a wedding last weekend has us itching to shoot! See you two soon!

Hearing your bride yell from the limo as it is driving away … “I love you, Regeti’s!” That made our night, we love you too Sara and John!
Congratulations to Sara and John as they tied the knot in a little bit of Southern style and tradition this past weekend! From their mint juleps to the little ham biscuit passed hourdervers. Simplicity is that of what these two truly are. Not many would suspect it but the two are pretty traditional and conservative in many ways.
Few vendor shout outs that are well deserved to Elizabeth Bailey Weddings for their presence and coordination allowing for a perfect and flawless affair, they were such a pleasure and joy to work with. Her and her staff come highly recommended! Holly Chapple Flowers for all the floral design and bringing Sara’s vision with her flowers alive, MyDeejay for keeping the dance floor full at all times, Evergreen Museum for providing such a beautiful backdrop for some wonderful photos of Sara and John’s most special day!
We are happy to have been able to work with John and Sara as it has been wonderful getting to know them both and their families, we can’t wait to see you guys again soon!

4 fresh mint sprigs
2 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
1 tsp powdered sugar

Love it! Chris and Daisy will be getting married again at the end of August, but next time American style. We had the pleasure of being present for Daisy and Chris’ Chinese wedding ceremony this past Friday on the wonderful “lucky day” of 08.08.08! These two are a blast to work with and up for anything judging from her Chinese wedding I am sure that everyone is interested in seeing what moves she has in a full fledge wedding gown! We cannot wait to meet up with these two again this month when this series continues! Here are ’8′ images we chose

With their wedding not even a month away Shejal and Josh came out to our little town of Warrenton for their E-session with us. They happen to be one of our trendiest “RP” couples as they stylishly put themselves together. Each time we have seen them now they appear to be such a cute pair, inseparable at most! They will be our first fully fused Indian-American wedding and with Srinu and I being Indian-American ourselves cannot wait to cover their outdoor ceremony in Baltimore this September! Thanks guys for coming out and hanging with us!
Aubrey is 6 months old now! As she came in for her 6 month portraits we just could not help, but eat her up! Her icy-blue eyes and red hair just took the cake for us… needless to say she hammed it up like her Grandpa! LOL! Gretchen and Jeff were our Bride and Groom from May of 2007, it is always more a honor for us to watch our couples grow and be able to photograph their families. We are just awaiting the return of one of her girl friends and our past bride, Shannon to come back from assignment with her husband in Japan so that hopefully one day the Regeti’s will have to do a huge portrait of “RP Bridal Babies” or something cool like that once our first 50 brides all have babies! Till now everyone will have to just be happy with one baby at a time 
Could not find a more fitting title seeing that Kristen with Soiree Special Events coordinated this affair! Kevin and Salumeh (AKA Sally.) as many of you may remember from just a couple weeks back from their posted e-session just had their beautiful Persian ceremony this weekend, which is also our (RP’s) very FIRST ever Persian ceremony. We had nothing short of a blast! We are pretty well rounded when it comes to diversity on our blog. We have almost shot every ethnic/religious background (ALMOST.) here in the metro area. It lends us to keeping our coverage interesting and fresh that is for sure! Every time we think we have it nailed there is almost a little surprise and something new at every wedding/event that we cover, needless to say we simply love what we do!
Salumeh and Kevin certainly wear their heart on their sleeve. This was evident all evening as the two of them spent time with family and their closest friends. Kevin is one of those guys that all the ladies dream of finding who isn’t shy about showing his feelings or emotions, (Hope he doesn’t get harassed now!) his heart is so genuine that the moment he speaks from his heart he becomes so emotional. I think he had just about everyone in the room crying as they watched him receive his toast from his father over dinner. All evening you could just see the love that Salumeh and Kevin share without verbally hearing it. Obviously we attend many affairs every year, but each one stands out in our hearts and minds for different reasons uniquely their own, this one will always be remembered as being one that was filled with so much love, sincerity, and compassion. We are very eager to watch this wonderful couple grow as a couple and a family!
