Hand selected for the back cover! And who would you know has made it as the cover girl, but zesty little Christina! By far one of our favorite bridal shoots. It was great to get notice from Michele over at Rangefinder that we were selected out of all the talent that submitted. Once again, not more for us to say other than that of shocked and absolutely HONORED!

Our last wedding of 2009, as sad as we were to see it go we were so happy that it came! We had so many fabulous and awesome couples in 2009 that every couple was as unique as the next. We feel so blessed and loved that you have let us share in your lives together as a couple and as many of you begin to grow as families. We are looking forward to seeing all of you throughout the coming years!
We don’t always have the opportunity to meet clients of Associate Ben and Jess or Associate Ryan and Mackenzie, but it was a pleasure to be able to meet two of Ben’s past clients Parini and Mihir along with Manali and Satyam who just raved about their love for him which was awesome! We even bumped into Saureen and Jai whom we photographed their wedding with Associate Ben and Jess exactly 2 years back on December 29th 2007 on Associate Ben’s 28th birthday, striking midnight and running into the groom, Jai’s, birthday!
What more can we ask for as the talented Associate Ryan and Mackenzie of Regeti’s joined our shoot team for the day, Julie and her talented team with Blue Sky Films, Jag Singh from event EQ (They are so fabulous that I cannot understand why they don’t start with a capital “E”. They so have me stumped on that!), Aradhana with As You Wish on the Decor also talented. We were able to spend a little of our down time in the Sports Bar before the reception became underway allowing all of us to recharge from a really long day!
We could go on forever as we tend to remember the details of all our events so clearly, but the focus is Greta and Shameet so let me begin with saying that we spent with them 3 fabulous days; Thanksgiving evening, Black Friday and a wonderful Saturday in the city of Washington DC. I think that we are officially related to them! Both are such sincere and devoted individuals and clearly the chemistry they share is so intense that they are inseparable from one another. Compared to Shameet, Greta is like a tiny little Miss. India (Or should I say Mrs. India) Barbie Doll! The details of their day were none the less awesome as the dessert bar was a huge hit for everyone. Greta’s brother’s speech should be immediately faxed (703.880.7208) over to us for posting as it was hands down by far the best speech that we have heard till now from a brother of the bride!
Enough chatter as everyone has waited long enough for us to get off our duffs and get some blog images on here, I am starting to get threatening emails j/k 
Greta and Shameet it was an honor to spend one of the most important days of both of your lives with you and your families, may you both have a wonderful and happy wedded New Year!
Say it ain’t so that The Regeti’s have taken this long to blog! What can we say other than that we are enjoying the holidays and preparing to head out on January 15th for our next destination wedding in India! Yep that is right, off to India we are and I must say that we so need a break with all this cold weather. Feel like we need to break free from being locked up in the house due to the cold and enjoy some time in Kerala, India.
Never fear though we have been holding out on you as we so need to update so here we go starting first with a little holiday cheer for the New Year, our Christmas card wishing all of you out there the best this upcoming year. This was a vertical card that opened from the bottom. So the first image being the front, the second once it is opened being the inside top and the third the inside bottom with the last image being the back! Phew~! What a mouthful, so how many of you did I confuse, really?
We wish all of our past, present and future clients a wonderful New Year and look forward to seeing what this year has to offer each and every one of you!
We had the privilege of photographing the celebration of the Carr’s Triplets 16th Birthday Bash at the Willard Hotel last weekend and to say the least this was a fun party! The menu was by far the best with fries, mini burgers, ice-cream sandwiches and of course some Birthday cake too! But to top it off the talented Rick over at Amaryllis was behind the decor which always makes for setting the tone of the evening. Entertainment for the evening was from what we understand a band that they go to school with!
We decided to post a few images from the event, however due to them being minors we have opted not to blog too many images that may infringe on anyones privacy so unfortunately this one will truly be a real teaser. Should we get permission later we will certainly post an update to the post!
This spring we will be honored to head up to Jersey for their wonderful wedding. This past spring we had the honor of photographing her sister and brother-in-law’s wedding as well, Anand and Santhi so it will be great to hang out with the family again as we feel already like we are such a part of it!
Off to DC we were to photograph a little bit of down time with the two of them as Nikul owes us big for getting Smitha to come out so many times Thanks guys so much for being patient and waiting for us to make our way out to the city to spend time with the two of you. Now let’s get on with some teasers!
Four fabulous names in one fabulous evening, what more could you ask for! It was an honor as we were asked to photograph a dinner put on at the Four Seasons Hotel by The Churchill Centre and Museum at the Cabinet War Rooms, London in honor of Bill Marriott with the menu prepared by Chef Michael Mina (Bourbon Steak) himself, who flew in from NY just for the occasion!
The Four Seasons Hotel certainly did not disappoint as the service all around from the wait staff to the presentation of everything they did was just impeccable!
Those in attendance to name a few Laurence Geller, Jonathan Tisch, The Honorable Gordon Smith, Chris Matthews, The Honorable Evan Bayh, The Honorable Susan Collins, The Honorable Judith McHale, The Honorable Mitt Romney, Celia Sandys and of course Mr. J.W. “Bill” Marriott himself.
The menu (abbreviated of course) consisted of:
Chilled Maine Lobster Salad
Miso-Glazed Chilean Seabass
Mascallan 18 Butterscotch Pot de Creme
It was our pleasure to have been asked to photograph the event. Mr. Marriott is one of the most down to earth individuals that one will ever meet. Modest at best, any of us in the industry who have spent any amount of time at the Marriott hotels know that his employees are representative of who he is as a person.
Congratulations to Mr. J.W. “Bill” Marriott as he was presented with the Leadership Award.
Ann and Ken came out and joined us yesterday in order to get their engagement session in before the coldness really strikes our area. This year it seems like the weather certainly can’t make up it’s mind weather to rain, shine or just turn to gray skies! Even with the drizzles in the morning it was decided that they show must go on and by their session time it was perfect for photos, so happy were we that the weather decided to comply!
We always hear our girls tell the story of how they met each other and this time we asked Ken, learning quickly that they met while at a Brad Paisley concert. Who doesn’t love Brad Paisley, but on top of it to find your life partner there even makes his music a bit more sweeter. Seeing how happy Brad is in his life and how well he is doing just shows that Ann and Ken were meant to be. Perhaps annually they should go see Brad and we will have to tag along!
The time that we love the most about what we do is our “couples time” with our clients. It’s more like a double date than anything as all of us learn so much about what we have in common that was never truly established when we met the first time. We are so happy that out of all the fabulous choices Ann and Ken could choose from to photograph their wedding day that Ann, Ken and Mom too chose us to be there with them.
