Hank, Marie and RP!

It was our pleasure to have Hank and Marie come out to the studio today even with the morning snow for their e-session. Thankfully the snow pulled back and allowed for some great shots as we are simply down to the wire as for dates leading up to their April 18th wedding! We are so excited as we will be working with Monica over at Special Occasions (Event Planning). Marie says she is heaven sent and boy don’t we know as we have had the opportunity to experience her talent first hand as that girl can move!

Hope you two enjoyed lunch out on the town this afternoon and a little bit of “Marie and Hank” time! The count down begins!

MDA Heartsongs 2009 Gala!

I am hoping not to go on and on with this post, however this is one of those topics that often sends me into pouring out my soul. It is almost as if one needs to be there to experience it. This is our third year in sponsorship and attendance and it never changes the way I feel when Mattie’s mom Jenny gets up there to take the stage, granted this year I must admit that it seemed more difficult than that of the others as she has become more dependent on her breathing device, but none the less she is awe invoking when she speaks she simply moves me to tears by her courage and determination to have her son and his legacy remembered and the fight to cure MD through the raising of dollars to fund the research need to find a cure. Through something so tragic as the loss of all 5 of her children she is able to rise above and find the good in it all by sharing her story with others. My heart breaks every time…

However, I wish I had a million dollars to just give to this cause as I truly believe in the MDA and what all the ladies and gentlemen are fighting for over there. Keep up the good work … you get more from it than you can ever give!

For those of you who can even donate just $5.00 we ask that you please visit the website and donate in order to help these children and Mattie’s legacy live on. Watching Billy Gilman out there with the kids was amazing and to see year after year how many of us keep giving is overwhelming all by itself. To name a few: Bravo! Events, Gerard Murphy, Safeway, Mama Lucia’s, Larry King, Tamara Darvish, Jim McWhorter and Yasmin Adadian his wife, Kate and Bob Giamo, Donald and Hinda Kahn, Tony Perkins with FOX5 is another. Last but not least the IAFF (International Association of Fire Fighters) USA and Canada with the awesome “Fill the Boot” campaign. I am sure that Mattie smiles down on each one of you!

Next time you see that boot and those fire fighters out there, please help to fill it even if it is just the ash tray change, it goes such a long way!

Hello world… Nicole is coming!

We had the opportunity of photographing Nicole, which is one of our past groom, Ty’s little girl They have such a wonderful relationship with one another and we were so happy to have her out for the morning for a little bit of pampering and rock star treatment. The best part for us about the whole day was knowing that she was all dolled up and planning to go with Daddy to a father/daughter dance that evening. Gone are those days for us, but goodness soak them all up as those are the moments when I truly believe your gonna miss them when they are gone.

Hope you two had a blast and needless to say took lots of photographs!

Shalini, Perry, Arjun and Sonali

Shalini, Perry, Arjun and Sonali came in for their session with us this morning. We will be photographing the wedding of Shalini’s youngest brother Nitin. And are totally excited about his marriage to Rachna! Needless to say from what we have seen thus far the family as a whole is among the most pleasant and if we can say so ourselves not too bad looking either

Sonali and Arjun were such troopers, even though Sonali had a bi-lateral ear infection we were still able to get a few keepers that this family will be able to cherish forever! Bless her heart we hope she feels better soon! XOXO

Thanks for coming out to see us as we have so enjoyed getting to know the familes of both Rachna and Nitin over the last two weeks and cannot wait to meet the couple soon!

Aubrey’s One Year Debut!

Although Mom refers to her walk as a “drunken monkey” she is just darling. Believe it or not these images can’t begin to do her justice in real as she is just such a pleasant little one year old little girl. And this dress she brought with her, how darling is it? Those were the days! Our five year old is now all about her denim! With our 12 year old it doesn’t get any better, just tighter and more low rise! Yikes. (Shannon, it was great to see you again!)

Chapple presents “Baby Grace”

We are so honored and privileged to be the first photographer to photograph “Baby Grace”. It is so important to get infants in their early days in order to get real images of them in the fetal position before they are out there saying “Hello world I am here to stay!”. Thanks to Holly and her family we had a wonderful Sunday morning as we had all the kids together theirs and ours! It was a blast and the studio this morning was rockin’. If only every day could be so relaxing. Holly of course brought this super cute basket for the baby to have her first portraits taken in and let’s just say she certainly has the Chapple spirit in her for the florals… she is totally the next Preston Bailey in the making for sure, only hotter! Much love, hugs, kisses and congrats to the Chapple Family!
