Regeti Kids Back to School – 2009

In all the craziness of the week with getting the kids back to school and all that comes along with it, signing papers and shopping. And just when you feel you finished shopping you have to shop for more

Tied into it was also the wedding celebrations of Rachna and Nitin spanning over the past 10 days… literally bring the studio to a halt! We just wanted to thank the team for hanging in there through the last week with the schedule changes and last minute notices. You all were great and we truly appreciate your patience and willingness to so quickly adapt to the change in plans from day to day!

For those who have been following our blog for years now it is that time of year where school is back in session and we see the kids off on their first day. It was very bitter sweet we must say as all of them are officially in school this year. From the top to bottom:

Brittney (13 on September 4th!) 8th class, Bradley (8) 3rd class, Brijesh (7 on September 14th!) 2nd class and Bhavika (5) Kindergarten. Boy was that a tough one seeing potentially the last one off to school on her first day…

I know that this is so cliche, however I know alot of our brides are with babies now and as you can see looking back on our blog, what our parents have said all along “They grow up so fast.” is all too true of words. My heart breaks some days to know that I cannot hold them in my arms and on my lap forever. The marriage of our couples confirms that destiny will occur for each one of them.

It was bitter sweet because as we are excited for what the future holds for them yet at the same time saddened that one day possibly sooner than we could boldly imagine they themselves will be saying all of this to us as they watch their little ones grow…

I am off to find the tissues, but for those of you following here are the annual “First Day Back” photos! (You can search for Brijesh and come up with lots of past ones too!)

The one who must not be named…”Hotter Than a Fire-Cracker!”

We thought since finally one of our gals has given us the green light to blog a photo or two from her boudoir session with us that we better be on it! We are awaiting approval of a few more before we further blog. For those of you wondering we just wanted to let you ladies know that we are very much still attending to our much discerning boudoir clientele, however most of them are not permitting the sharing of their images due to their current job positions or privacy concerns. The Regeti’s are still very much boudoir active and have very excitedly accepted to present a master class called “Boudoir 1-2-3!” at the WPPI Convention in Vegas spring of 2010!

We are looking for anyone who may be interested in modeling during one of our shoots for the sole purposes of promotion and teaching material for our class. To inquire email Amy directly along with your most recent photograph at amy @ regetis. com !

Ribbons, packages and bows… Oh my!

Ever since we started Regeti’s we have had this thing for fine little packages envisioning it to be our trademark. It has indeed become just that as we package and ship every single “RP Red Ribbon Package” each one is hand held and wrap with the greatest care as it is shipped to those far and near. I have to say that it has become one of my most favorite things about our business, who would not want to wrap such a cute little package every day and send it on it’s way! As you can see it’s not just me who loves my job!

Delice-Nicole and Jeff @ The Inn at Poplar Springs

One of our favorite little parts of Warrenton is this little quaint Inn. It truly takes a special bride to marry at the Inn as the guest list has to be significantly narrowed down due to the number of guests it can hold, but it is perfect in every way!

Delice and Jeff are the most down to earth couple you’ll meet and their family genuinely so. Delice’s family has spent a better part their lives living in Dubai where Delice was primarily raised till she met the fabulous Jeff and is still every time I talk to her is always in flight … she’s certainly global that is for sure! It was great to go out to the Inn just 2 minutes from our place and spend the day with them and their family. It felt more like a get-a-way to us rather than the main event as the time flew by so quickly and before even we knew it the wedding night had come to an end. Those are the best weddings, when you are left wishing it would never end… but like all great things they must end so wonderful things can begin…

That these two are… Congratulations, Delice and Jeff and try not to have too much fun on your honeymoon in the Maldives! We are so envious of you both right now, enjoy!

Editorial Shoot for Engaged! Magazine

Are we ever honored!!! Yes, we are. To have been asked to provide services for the editorial spreads for the Engaged! Magazine. This is by far a publication that we truly believe in because the Editor, Miss. Doreen Tisone takes it so personal. It is the one publication where we truly feel that the Editor knows her advertisers. It is without a doubt that every time I run into another professional who advertises along side of us that they tell us why it is that they also love this publication.

We were excited when hired for the job, it was awesome to watch it all unfold and work with such a wonderful team that is behind each and every one of her editorial shoots. We were able to put faces to the names we often read within the publication!

Aubrey and Erin Kathleen!

In from Japan for a visit with Aubrey was Jason and Shannon’s little bundle just weeks old, Erin Kathleen! We were needless to say thrilled that Jason and Shannon planned it so perfectly that they could join in with Aubrey for her next session and baby Erin’s first! Gretchen started the RP craze as Shannon and Jason booked up just right after her followed by her girlfriend Nalani! Funny as it turned out we wound up shooting Nalani and Sean’s wedding before Shannon and Gretchen’s and she booked us last

They truly are clients for life to us and friends now forever! Even their Mom’s tag us on our Facebook! Got to love that! So before we get tagged more we hope that this will hold up till we work through the edits! Love ya guys!
